I was driving off of Route 287 on the way to my doctor's. I would not expect a free repair but with the number of complaints there are they should be made to repair or reimburse on some kind of scale. The gauge jumps all over, the empty chime comes on all the time, and the engine light comes on and off. The contact stated that the four wheel drive warning light illuminated on the instrument panel as the four wheel drive failed. I have made an appointment to have the 4 wheel drive system checked again. This failure happened to the contact's vehicle twice.
She continued to drive the vehicle and, once at her destination, unsuccessfully attempted to shift into reverse again. Dealer telling me that its a motor sensor that encodes the transfer to shift. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the transfer case control module needed to be replaced. Does anybody else have the problems I'm having? This is the second repair on the same part. About a year ago when my vehicle was still under warranty I had a problem with my 4-wd system, the dash said service 4 wheel drive. Removed and disassembled the switch and resoldered the circuit board connector terminals.
The theft system light will flash or stay lit on the dash for approximately 10 minutes. Once the vehicle is running, the password is learned and this completes the cycle. I then contacted gm corporate office on this matter and ask for assistance in paying for this repair due to faulty equipment and I said there is no reason for this part to go bad with 70,000 miles on a 2002 Trailblazer, they told me that due to my year of vehicle and miles there was nothing they would do for me. I just hope it stays that way. When he gets back I pray he fixes this situation.
The current and failure mileage were 57,610. I am looking to replace the fuel pump, crank censor, cam censor, plugs and thermal stat. Turned out to be in great shape and the interior looks as if only the driver's seat was sat in. The switch was still in the 2 wheel drive position. I turn the new switch and nothing happens I checked the power to the actuator and there is no power at all. Flipped the switch to go back to 2 wheel drive and the warning light on the dash came on the one with the wrench beside the drive train and the lights that indicate what it is in 4 high 2 high and such blinks for awhile in each position and then completly goes out. Fluid changed you can see my head lights dimm and sounds comming from the frount.
So give it a try. I told them there are other cases in the area with this same problem and I asked them to investigate this because it needs to be a recall, or find out what the problem is and fix it before other newer models are sent out with the same problem, and somebody actually gets hurt because of equipment failure. At times, mostly when cold, the gas pedal would be unresponsive. This time I was able to get the vehicle back into 2 wheel drive, and drive the vehicle home. On the front right passenger side of the vehicle. Maybe they should read this and see that apparently I am not the only person having these problems. I have been turned away by gm and gm dealerships when I brought the problem to their attention.
It has been very reliable even with 196000 miles on it, it still runs like horse you would not guess it has that many miles on it. Year of manufacture 2002 First year of ownership 2002 Most recent year of ownership 2004 Engine and transmission 4. In addition, the gear would still not shift into reverse. It would not shift beyond second gear. Very comfortable ride, and plenty of power for any kind of driving. I've towed a 3,500 lb boat hundreds of miles and other trailers numerous times with no issues. I will probably keep it for years.
Ok, I got that fixed, added a new selector switch, then a few thousand miles later the transmission goes out while I'm on the interstate. Let me know if you checked there for the fuse. So he puts me in a new tranny. Disconnect it for a few seconds and then reconnect it. This vehicle is like a ghost. It's dangerous being you can run out of fuel at any given time because you don't know your avg.
Roadside assistance was called to the scene and the vehicle was towed to an authorized dealer for diagnostic testing. Fuses are good There is no power getting to the switch. And things keep popping up. Works like a champ now, every time! Try and put car in neutral and switch it. They tear easy, especially if you don't use it much. The auto light blinked for an extended period of time and then went out. So , I'm thinking it could have been caused by the first problem, maybe a delayed reaction? I dropped it off yesterday before work, asked him if it would be done today, he said it should and I would be able to pick it up after 5 o'clock.
I have driven from Texas to Florida to Oklahoma and have no complaints for what I put it through on a daily basis. The contact depressed the accelerator pedal, but there was no response. Durning the summer I had the trans serviced. I had last used the Auto 4×4 successfully was on December 26 when we experienced icy conditions returning from visiting relatives in Northern California. Shutting the vehicle off and turning it back on clears the problem. Original review: May 28, 2015 There is a recall for the 2006 and 2007 trailblazer with their headlights to just stop working and mine did on may 27 2015 at 10:30 at night.
