It pulls strongly, sounds muscular and can generally overtake slower traffic whenever your right foot desires. Both are available with all-wheel drive. The styling is beautiful yet aggressive without being flashy. The back seat is not commodious, with rear legroom at a premium, though there is a car seat anchor for the little one. The shift lever has a smooth, slick action, which takes at least some of the annoyance out of the zig-zag P-R-N-D pattern, but I still strongly prefer a simpler fore-aft pattern. We expect the Lexus all-wheel-drive system will make a bigger difference on muddy or snowy roads. While most said the front seats were roomy and supportive, the back seat drew criticism for being cramped. With the top down, they look like convertibles.
Like I said, everything one could want in a car. Not a huge fan of exterior styling. The voice commands are useful while driving however they could be a bit more intuitive and natural. To me the 250 was just gutless. Remedy Toyota will notify owners, and Lexus dealers will install new wiper arm nuts, free of charge. The phone interface also shows a paired phone's contact list on the screen. Despite the extra weight of the convertible, 306-hp is still plenty of grunt and you should expect a 0-60 mph time of anywhere from the mid five second range to about six seconds.
I did about half of the test-drive with the top up, and the rest with it down. That's about the same as that of a V-6 mid-size sedan, and not too shabby for a sporty coupe with a retractable hardtop. Its Mark Levinson audio system delivers excellent sound quality. Using 13 electric motors, at the push of a button, the fully-automatic folding-hardtop lowers in 20 seconds, stowing in the rear of the car…. Visibility with the top up can leave a lot to be desired, as is the case in a lot of convertible models, but an available rearview camera system and front and rear parking sensors will help remedy the situation—at least when parking. While the proportions might not look as neat as they could have, the tradeoff is that trunk space, plus decent back seat legroom—well, depending on your expectations. The hardtop is a home run, as it's made of lightweight aluminum, folds into three neat sections, and forms a tight, weatherproof barrier from weather and noise. But, even so, this is one nice car.
Couldn't be happier with my purchase. The suspension has been upgraded with a set of lowering springs matched with shocks developed in cooperation with Bilstein. . Did I say I really enjoyed this car? The rear legroom is a little tight for tall people but its fine for most. One of the best modern engines made.
