Benjamin Buford 'Bubba' Blue in Forrest Gump 1994 who played George Lanter, the security guard at the Speedway. No, I would not recommend this to a friend Seeing how the movie was actually shot in 3D and not converted it looks great specially during the beginning race track scene. There were many unusual tidbits of Americana that might make this more of a cult film than anything else. One of the students, Carter Horton Kerr Smith , is furious at Alex, and the two are being pulled apart when the plane they just exited explodes in midair, killing everyone who remained aboard. I recommend this 3D movie with parental advisory. Ellis' background as a stuntman and stunt coordinator helps him build electric suspense through a chain of seemingly simple actions that in fact loaded and lethal. She and police officer Thomas Burke Michael Landes save a group of people who would have otherwise died in the crash.
Make sure you have the correct 3D glasses for your 3Dtv, they are not all the same. Some surprisingly serious observations occur at unexpected moments. The film may not be deep, but it's well crafted with the same wickedly warped sense of humor that Morgan and Wong brought to their best X-Files work. The sole survivor was Clear Rivers Ali Larter who voluntarily checked into a padded room at Stonybrook Institute. And, in many ways, it's even better in 3D. I love when it looks like you can reach out and touch the characters, and this one is really awesome with the bridge collapsing scene, Im terrified of heights and it just looked like I was there, it was a great thrill to watch. The supply of victims is one of the few permanently renewable resources we have.
The audio with this movie adds a lot to the visual effects. For my taste, that's enough, but I recognize that tastes vary in this regard. After that though the series kind of ditched that and spun off onto it's own. Truth be told, it's the weakest entry to date. Out of 18 3D titles i own, the 3D effects on this thriller had me on the edge of my seat. I like the cross over with the characters and the stories.
The paper glasses destroyed the movie for me so I only watched it once. If anything, a few shots lack polish while several others have been polished so much that the actors take on a glossy, wax-like appearance. Be sure to select the lossless track from the pop-up menu as soon as the film starts. A nervous flier so superstitious that he saves the baggage tags from the last successful flight completed by his luggage actually his dad's , Alex turns out to have good cause for being nervous. In general it's just a nice show off movie for your 3D setup.
Every one of the original 3 films had a way of explaining itself. Shortly after boarding the Paris flight, he experiences a vivid vision of the plane exploding immediately after take-off and jumps up screaming that they're going to crash. Is it a separate being or another aspect of Death itself? Slowly, members of the group begins to die off in horrific ways, leaving the survivors to question who will be next. Don't get me wrong, I'd be just as dissatisfied if too many answers were provided -- other ongoing series have tried to address their beasties' origins and failed miserably -- but adding a few more pieces to the puzzle would have gone a long way toward making the fourth film a truly three-dimensional sequel. But for some inexplicable reason, the still-thriving Final Destination franchise -- four, soon profitable films strong -- continues to entertain me, even when tossing batch after batch of fresh faces into the increasingly familiar genre grinder.
Genre: Horror Format: Blu-ray Disc Leading Role: Shantel Vansanten, Bobby Campo, Haley Webb Rating: R Director: David R. While the studio's lossless mix certainly won't win any awards for nuance or subtlety, it suits the tone and tenacity of the film, relying on technical prowess when little else seems reliable. Fortunately, substantial artifacting, aliasing, crush, and unintended source noise are held at bay, and excessive artificial sharpening and ringing, though present at times, aren't a prevailing problem. The scene is so artfully executed, it physically hurts to watch. This time it's a bridge collapse and the ending.
Or are these bizarre, otherworldly dominoes nothing more than a thinly veiled macguffin designed to keep a franchise afloat? What entity is attempting to intervene and save these doomed souls? Using Death as a villain liberated Final Destination and its sequels from many of the practical absurdities that eventually dragged down the and series, with their indestructible, omnipotent and omnipresent killers. Clear Rivers busts out of the psych ward to help the remaining survivors pool their efforts and read the signs of impending death before it claims their lives. If something interferes with the plan, Death seeks to restore the intended order, like a natural system seeking equilibrium. Walker's comments on the balance between music and sound effects at approximately 1:08:00 are especially thought-provoking. Not by any technical means, mind you, but that extra bit of dimensionality makes everything that much more entertaining. Like the previously released 2D edition, The Final Destination 3D comes up short with just 45-minutes of special features.
Final Destination 3D The blu ray version has both 2d and 3d included plus digital copy which I like considering that I got it for cheap. I would recommend this to a friend The production team for Final Destination 3D really nailed this one with awesome pop out scenes!!! Clear is exceptional in another way, because she affirmatively followed Alex off the plane, somehow sensing the accuracy of his premonition. A congenial group, the colleagues laugh and joke with each other, but they do provide interesting background on their careers and their involvement with the film and the experience of making it. My scores for the two releases may be the same, but Warner's 2011 3D release has an edge over its 2009 2D counterpart. The 3d was pretty good.
